For the past 30 years, my entire career has spanned the world of fashion. I founded a modelling agency in my early years, which later evolved into me becoming the owner and editor of a fashion magazine that was published exclusively for South African Fashion Week. I spent many years speaking with top fashion designers, and cultivated a discerning eye for how self-expression can culminate in elegance, confidence and authenticity.

As I progress through the fascinating world of personal style my relationship with fashion has become clearer. As a stylist, I have the following message to share: Instead of using clothes as ‘armor’ see clothes instead as heart openers; creating a feeling that reflects your inner self perfectly to those around you. Together, we can create a feeling of your heart expanding. I witness this so often at Consign Couture with customers and it brings me tremendous joy.

Now, with my new venture Refinery52, I embark on a new adventure — the fusion of my passions for fashion and personal fulfillment. We will ‘Refine your Wardrobe’ so you can easily ‘shop’ your own closet from items that reflect your style. I will show you how to style and create outfits from existing garments and suggest additional items to compliment what you already have. I’m also available to accompany you on shopping trips to help you find these unique items. I look forward to joining you on your new journey of self-expression and style!
